I have posted two of these vases before but somehow my collection of this range has increased so am posting some more.
The vases in photo 2 were the first I owned in this range, previously posted, and both are pretty cool with their mix of blues and green with the orange/yellow millefiori. They are cased thickly in clear with very pronounced ribs.
The white and orange vase is in the same shape as the smaller green one I have posted before. The white area is actually coloured by a very fine white spatter in clear, a very Multi Glass decor that gives a delicacy to what is really a good size piece of glass.
The tall green vase shows some other typical Multi Glass design features, with the clear vertical ribs and the very pointed rim tips.
I love these vases. They are different and exciting and colourful, and really speak to me of post war Japanese glass. I can reliably date them to the early 1980s.
Green vase is 28cm high
I love these vases too, so much to enjoy in each one!
Karen,
These vases are simply BEAUTIFUL!! I especially love the ones in pic #2.
I love the back piece in pic 2. Great form!!
They are a happy group Peggy, glad you like them! Thanks.
Scott and Welzebub, I understand why you appreciate the two in the second photo. The large square vase is a beauty. Thanks for commenting guys!
In every kind but all pretty.
