Xmas 1984 at work at the old dhss office in Clarendon road , edgbaston in Birmingham. In the storeroom . Was employed as a stationery clerk working on my own , stationery supplies to different offices in the building was employed as a stationery clerk from October 1977 till February 1987. - then aged 37 in 1984. The office closed down about 7 years ago and was moved to the ladywood area.

Collecting over at this site all kinds of vintage items.I mostly collect postcardsand very old photograhs.
Its nice wihen people share their old memories in this site. He has been on this site for 6 years, about the time I came here. Some people created trouble for me, so I left for a while. I used to work in stock for a while and people would often call out to me asking what number a form was, rarely did I have to look.
