I used to collect these old Civil War relic desk sets, which often
included bullets, and buttons, and other battle relics.
Those with more relics than this one, can today be pricey. This one features only an inkwell for your desk, and the block of wood has a
civil war 3-ring lead bullet still embedded in it. See it in the
crack in the wood piece?
There is also a stamp with Jenny Wade's likeness on it. She was the only civilian casualty of the battle of Gettysburg. This is an old one, maybe 1890-1910.
