Just saved this from the dumpster, I plan on re-upholstering but I wanted to know more about it before I refinish/upholster. I got the chair when my brother purchased a 1910 home, it was in a trash heap ready to be hauled away. I saw the arms and couldn't let it go. Any information would be appreciated as I can find nothing online.

I love the acanthus leaves on the larger arm rests. It would be hard to find and as there is really not much for style, I guess the best would be Renaissance Revival. Nicely carved. it looks almost as if it was a chair before it was made into a rocker.

SWEET! It is going to be a comfort to you way down the line when you become elderly. It is built for comfort! I'm just as so happy you rescued it!! Cheers!
