As I said in my last Welz post, I seem to have been unlucky grabbing good Welz pieces over the years. So, like waiting ages for the proverbial bus..... not only one but two come along at the same time under the guise of Murano! Nice...we all like 'our kind of glass' attributed like this.
So here they are a nice pair of stripes and spots in orange/red and yellow.
One has a big bubble manufacturing flaw to the base, but I don't care.
BEAUTIFUL Welz-- looks to have been well worth the wait!

WOW !!! WOW
A beautiful pair Phil... Congrats! I think that finding pieces misidentified, and for a great price, is sometimes more exciting then just buying one correctly identified!
When you look on eBay or online, it seems like every unidentified piece of glass is called Murano similar to how every Murano paperweight is attributed to Fratelli Toso or every Blackamoor, Barovier. Great find!
Thank you for your comments chaps - really appreciated!
how great to get a pair! love them
So gorgeous
Well done you!
