I have had it for a long time. It was found on my land. I think it is a old native plow. But i am not sure. I need to know all about it. Please help. It is made of stone. It is from northern Minnesota close to the great lakes.
What's it made of?
I agree with bobby725. Native Americans didn't have plows, as such. They used stone hoes and tools that looked like mattocks. However, this identification is much too complicated and subtle to be adjudicated on the basis of a few photographs. The artifact should be taken to a museum or university, preferably as close as possible to its discovered location, to be assessed by people familiar with the local native culture, their agricultural methods and tools.
