Would love to get some feedback about the history of this Clock. My great grandfather had this on his farm in Saratoga NY. He said his father inherited it. Is this unique, or simply old and common

It's called a kitchen clock or "gingerbread" clock from the late Victorian period into the 1910's. It appears to be in very nice condition; possibly refinished. I think the pendulum is hanging backwards; normally there is a brass disc showing. What makes the difference with these is the maker. Is there a name on the lower part of the dial (below 6), inside the case or on the back of the case? If there is, you can probably find the model and narrow down the date of manufacture.
