This was either in my Grandparents' or Great Grandparents' home originally.
It's gorgeous, with a matching ladel.
It's been damaged, and repaired QUITE a long time ago.

Sorry there is no selling allowed on this site, you would have to use eBay or a similar venue. When you list, don’t forget to include a photo of the maker’s mark

I will upload the bottom maker's mark, and remove the comment about selling... I apologize, I meant it to be more anecdotal, mentioning what I'm doing with it.
Thank you for the heads up.

I've updated the photos with the maker's mark. There are two other characters, away from the stamp, itself. One looks like a W, and the other either an O or a zero.

It is very pretty, however in the UK Johnson Brothers was an everyday china, so many were made. Certain patterns have become popular in the USA, more of the ones with an American theme. I have a link to the marks, however they have not mentioned when your one was in use, but i believe it was the early 2oth century until WWII. You could check on ebay.co.uk for comparables. replacements.com also have a few pieces of your pattern.

PS I believe it was a transfer ware pattern but hand coloured

That's interesting that the pink was probably hand coloured. It's unfortunate that Replacements, Ltd. doesn't post the year of manufacture with the patterns. I love their site, and it's been a wealth of information for me.
However, that would certainly be an immense amount of work for them, and I'm sure it would bring up many, many arguments over the internet! :)
I love this Collectors Weekly site! I'm thrilled to get to share and discuss pieces.
