I found this old Ideal Doll today at the church sale. I thought she was really neat. My kids think she's creepy. She's very well made, and was prolly very loved at one time. I found a patent number on the back of her head. Im gonna see if i can look it up. Thanks for looking have a great day!

My granddaughters find thes dolls with the eyes that close to be creepy also. So I've Been on the lookout for a trash one to make a lamp out of, just to creep them out daily...lol
      Cool doll in my opinion;~)

Haha you would love her eyes then. They are yellow with no pupil. I'll post a picture.

I also have chased my daughter around blinking her eyes with my hand. We have a creepy old baby pram she will look good in.

Put a drop of mineral oil or sewing machine oil in her eyes for a week they will clear up alot . They have crystallized. And no far scaring kids .

Haha. My kids are older. They don't scare easy. And thank you so much for the suggestion. I will try that and let you know how that goes!

I got JUST the head at Goodwill, like one I had as a tot, pretty face, lovely eyes that open/ shut-I was planning to find a doll body--but no luck. I wanted to look at her a lot--so just the head is sitting in a pretty wide mouth jar-and I don't care--I am going to love that honey forever--it is just as I remember my doll. (so what she has no body, I just enjoy her face so much.) I can her you all laughing.........
I think your doll is beautiful too!!! Seems like eyes can be replaced??
