Gift from Air Force to Lieutenant General, my grandfather, for his retirement. The globe weighs 14 pounds with a 13 inch diameter, standing on a Gold brass stand with a unique build of legs. The globe itself is a dark blue marble with gemstones included, accompanied by a compass in the center of the three legs. The overall condition of the item is in good condition with minimal signs of wear and tear and great movement of the globe itself.
I have a small one and one large one about 26 inches high. Used to see a lot of them at the jewellers in the 90's and 2000's, so they are quite new I believe.
