About 8" tall. I'm thinking possibly an European piece but can't identify the mark - raised circle and what looks like number 5.

I recognize the form. Thought perhaps Brush McCoy or Burley Winter, but haven't had any luck researching. Typically a circle in the center of the base is a knock-out, so that the vase can be converted into a lamp. They're more common on jardinieres, where if a knock-out is present, it's for drainage.
There are exceptions (e.g. Hyalyn pottery)

Thanka for the reply. Not sure if the circle is for knock out. It is raised ring rather than being like a hole.
