I have finally got round to looking through a bag of stones that I have collected over the last few years of rooting around in the bottom of jewellery cabinets and looking for bits & bobs, I am wondering if anyone can tell me more about this stone I have picked out.

I was going to suggest jade because of the way it's carved, but close up it looks like it has little speckles in it that look more like green aventurine. It's so difficult to tell without seeing it int he flesh!
I am thinking jade but am no expert so you could be right ,thanks pebbles
