    Firma C.A. Schack Bürgel/Germany ca. 1900-1915

A piece from my collection of the company of my great grandfather. This was one of four major factories in the period between 1877 and 1930. Very much was exported to the USA.

Carl Schack was a friend of Carl Gebauer - also this company has exported very much to the USA.

Fabulous pieces - I sure would like to know more about them. Are the undersides marked?

As Artfoot has said, all fantastic pieces of art pottery. Any more info gladly received thanks.

Many thanks for the interest - that makes me very happy.

I have been dealing with this company for 4 years and have seen in the time perhaps 400-500 pieces. Of which five are on the ground with a mark. An oval stamp - "c. A. Schackbürgel" some, unfortunately far too few, have a number.

In my possession there are catalogs from the time around 1910-1915. There I can compare and assign many pieces in the comparison of the forms.
