GEC `MAGNET` D2400 Electric Fire/Hot Plate Combi.
To date not a single image or info relating to this has been found on the web. I only know what it is by way of an eBay listing for a 1931 GEC catalogue which by chance shows it open at the appropriate page.

It is fully functional & original bar the old 2-core mains lead which was too rotted, now a 3-core earthed lead....& the front panel indicator lamp, originally an Osglim .5W SBC, now replaced by a very unflattering 15W red pigmy.
