    Sofa was from my grandma's house, she passed at age 98, 40 years ago,my mom had it reap holstered, other than that I really don't know much about it

      Hi, just wondering how to tell my sofas age or even if it is Victorian, thano you for any info!

      It is hard to tell, very hard from photos. You have to realize a lot of antique furniture was in production up and into the 1980's. This one may have come from the 1950's.
      I have a chair for instance in this style that was made for Eatons in Canada and is marked underneath dated 1950. I have had the privelige to own furniture that was covered in plastic most of its life, so the chair is like new !
