Hello, just wondering if Queen
Anne cups and saucer is old, I have a others of different types but I don't know much about them, as well the writing desk in the photo I was curious if anyone would happen to know age or anything g at all, thanks so kindly!
It's very pretty, but I can't read the backstamp! It's blurred. If it says made in ?(country) it will be 20th century.
The photo of the desk needs to be replaced with pics from different angles - we need to see the draws, the side of the draws, the back of the desk. And please can you make sure your photos are the right side up.
Many thanks.
I think you'll find that "Queen Anne" is a pattern name only - not something that dates the cup to that time.
Thank you so much for the info on pictures as well as the info on the cuphone and saucer!! I'm just learning how to figure this out!
Queen Anne is one of the trade names of the Staffordshire company Shore & Coggins. Here is a link to a page showing their marks
