Hi, I just found this pocket watch at my local thrift store, and would love to know more about this. I do believe the case to be made Joseph boss 14 karat double field, with a movement by Rockford Watch company and the dial/face Reads GEO. GARMAN WILLIAM SPORTPENN. I also believe the case to be in the hundreds style as there is a deer on front, I pay $30 and would like to know more information about this pocket and is it worth having it fixed as it currently does not work looks to be very dirty.

The cost of having it put back into function may be greater than it's worth. It is of OK quality, not great but not bad either (17 jewels is more of a decent watch, so that it is only 15 makes it a little less quality; it's just plated in gold, not solid). It appears to be all there and appears to have no cracks in the face. If it were me, I'd have it put back into working order for use, but if you don't desire to keep it, then it likely isn't worth having fixed. If you removed the dirt and dust, I'm sure it would attract much interest as it can't be terribly common due to its low production numbers.
