    Primitive handmade copper container, measures
    6 3/4" x 4". Has a removable lid. Found at a home auction in New Haven, Kentucky. I was told that it may be a lamp oil can. I thought it was really interesting, I like primitives. What do you all think?

      I thought about that also. It does look like a still. I cleaned off black soot on the bottom. Looked like it sat on a open flame.
