With all the wonderful German pottery listed recently, I thought I would throw this into the mix with the hope of learning its creator. I have long suspected this was either German or Bohemian but I have had no confirmation.

Vase stands 7" (17.7 cm) tall. The glaze (better in person than in these photos) is a crystalline gold dripped over a flatter gold dripped over a glossy cobalt blue. Underside has an impressed circle and the number 884.

If this helps, I commented on one of Esteban's posts that I'd had several Schack vases I was never able to identify. His posts allowed me to make a definitive ID on those vases. The look of the base and markings were very similar or identical (it's been a few years..) to yours. Hopefully Esteban will revisit the site and confirm the ID.
