    Old Woman and Old Man Majolica Wall Shelves, 13" tall. I inherited these from my antique dealer mother. She had them labeled as Majolica. How can you tell? I'd love to learn more about them.

      Majolica nowadays refers more to the type of glaze that the place of origin

      Here is a link to the French eBay with some examples, but I read somewhere else that the pieces withe the capital letters GAEN are older. If the link doesn’t work just type J Filmont ceramique in your search
