We had an authentic Coca Cola button sign that was unfortunately stolen and sold to an antique store across town.. Long story short, we tracked down the antique dealer that bought the sign and they said our sign was sold already and gave us this one in its place..I'm pretty sure this one is a fake but hoping for the best? Does this sign look fake or is it possibly authentic? There is a little rust on the front and back and it has 3 holes at the top edge and 3 at the bottom edge to hang with. Any help would be greatly appreciated :)
See any date along the edge ? Mine was different but it did have a date along the edge, but was Canadian one too......but to me yours and the rust looks real.....in my opinion. See what others have to say. What size is yours >\?

Difficult to say with certainty without knowing size and seeing close up. My guess is it's an old amateur restoration, especially if a large size 24"-36". The top of the cap for example has the colors inverted, should be white with red logo. There's a lot of white paint within the bottle, not seen on original and repro signs. The back looks right and the die cut oval bolt holes are difficult to reproduce correctly. It was nice of the shop owner to give you something, at the least.
The sign is 36" and I don't see any date along the edge- you can see clear paint lines and a few flaws so I could see it being an amateur restoration. Thanks for the feedback @antiquerose and @Daddy_Nobucks! :)
