Found this doll in Augustus, Georgia. It is sign on the hand Laurie #3.
There is a wood base that has a plaque that says Unique Possessions by Laurie. Looks like Christopher Columbus, maybe missing a hat and he may have been holding something. About 12" tall, face and and hands made with polymer clay, but the boots look like a mold. Well sewn clothes, Any info anyone has on this would be great!
I have 4 of these- made for me from Laurie about 25 years ago.Mine are Christmas elves.Met her at a artisan event.She was southern.All hand made and really detailed.Lost touch with her.Not sure she is still alive.
