Small Old Bottle

This is a tiny bottle and I cannot even guess what kind it could be. It measures 4" x 1.5" x .75". It has ribs on the sides, the seam stops at the bottom ring of the neck. It has rounded shoulders and just above the shoulders it has a bulbous appearance. In block letters on the bottom it says DES PAT APPLIED FOR. Do not think I have the right top on this bottle, after I washed them I mixed up the top with another. The top has a V on it.
