Hi-
We are in the process of renovating a building & came across this piece. We had originally thought that we would paint in a high glass paint & reuse, but then worried that we might devalue a nice piece. Can anyone help me identify this piece & it's value?
Any information would help as I'm not knowledgeable about this.

This is an entry way piece, called a Hall Stand or Umbrella stand because umbrellas went in either side and there should be small metal trays at each bottom, It is missiing the pegs that would have been used to hang coats and sweaters...gloves would have gone in the drawer. Niece piece but I can't give you a value without a close examination.
