This glass pineapple cookie/ snack jar ? a red glass at bottom that graduates to golden orange then yellow to red on the top . It stands 8" tall and is about 5 1/4" wide . The shape is what grabbed my attention , my Mother loves pineapples so I purchased for her ; it now resides on her kitchen counter .
I believe this is an mid 1940's American pressed/ blown mold glass piece , possibly by Viking Glass from the "Yester-Year" line in Amberina Glass . She loves it and keeps cookies for my Dad inside , so he can snack when he chooses and it looks well with her Pineapple border in the kitchen .
Viking called this color 'Tawny' and had it in their 1958 catalog:
