Is this a Tell City chair? Mahagony or Cherry with needlepoint seat and carved flower/rose back. Found at an estate sale. I am trying to identify the maker and period of the chair. Was drawn to the chair because of the flower carving.

cam08554: Very attractive chair in my opinion and I really like the needlepoint on the seat. Looks like Cherry-wood but I am not an expert in any way. I believe their is someone that will see this and give you a better opinion on it. Looks as it may have had a label on it on the underside of the seat. Nice Chair

Looks like a Grand Ledge chair.
The needle point fabric is common to that company . The underneath looks familiar but someone added a piece of board to support the seat. Take off the seat by removing the four screws and remove the board to reveal mfg. Be careful not to damage the cushion.
