    This is a 1909, Battle Axe Shoe Co. Advertising Pocket Watch Fob.
    The fob is manufactured by S. D. Childs & Co. Chicago.
    Reverse side of fob reads:
    BATTLE-AXE-SHOES
    BUILT ON HONOR
    STEPHEN PUTNEY SHOE CO.
    RICHMOND, VA.
    S. D. CHILDS & CO. CHICAGO

    This is a fob that is made to attach to a leather fob strap.
