I am curious about this double cross line marked cast iron lid. I have researched it on cast iron collector forums and so far the manufacture name is not known. It is indicated that a complete unit ( kettle and lid, or skillet and lid - as several do exist with cast iron collectors ) would both have the marked double line, so this hammered kettle it is on is not a matched unit.
Does anyone know the origin/information on the manufacture with thgis crossed double line marking??

      Sir,

I realize that it's been 4 years since you posted this Dutch oven, but I am hoping you still have it.

Can you provide more detailed pictures of the pot itself? Bottom, sides, etc. I have a lid just like yours. I also have been trying to research the lid for over 2 years myself.

      Many thanks,

      J.

Yes! I am also wondering about the history etc of this chicken fryer! I have just purchased and the tag was removed by the vendor so I thought I would check here before trying to track them down again. I believe it said 1920's?
Thanks for any info you might share!
