This is an octagonal Noxema Jar, and I have never seen one this tiny. It is also as cobalt as cobalt can be. With the lid on, it measures 1.5" x 1.5". Several of my newer bottle finds I either cannot open, or in some cases am a bit skeptical about opening. Do I leave them as is, or do I try to clean up the top and insides. The insides I do not mind cleaning, but I have bad luck with the tops falling apart. Nevertheless, this one I just haven't tried very hard yet. The bottom says Noxema in solid raised letters and it is split in half by a diagonal line, and the whole word is in a box. Underneath is simply a nine. I do not know the year, but maybe 1939.
Nice color. I like the rusty lid too.
LOL, thank you fortapache!
