    Don't know anything about this. The carving is very nicely done and detailed. I imagine this is some sort of insect deity. Any info would be appreciated. THANKS FOR SOLVING THIS Kyratango

      It looks Indonesian/Balinese to me :-)

      May be stained ivory on a wood stand (pretty sure it is in two parts!), and perhaps a decorative or ceremonial knife handle?
