Would anyone have any idea of the style and era of our Chaise please ?
It is in very good condition apart from some fading on the edges by the sun.
We know it came from a significant stately home in UK and the owner (Lord ......) offered it to my wife's Aunt when he no longer wanted it.
I would call it traditional style, very nice. I know they were making this style up to the 60's but possibly from the early part of the 1900's when these were more popular. My friend Leanna would love this.
Woahh! Stylish and surely comfy :-)
This curved anatomical shape is rather modern, but those casters are typical of older furniture.

In French, we call it a "méridienne", day bed, to lay relaxing during the day (Will straight go take a nap now...)
Thanks to Phil and KyraTango for your feedback - this is really helpful.
I had seen the meridienne style and wondered if it was similar.
thanks
