Hello everyone.
Finally a trip to an op shop in our new area has paid off!
I have a very small collection of uranium glass pieces and was not intending to buy any more unless I came across a set of salt and pepper shakers as the space in the cupboard has run out!
However, could not pass up these yesterday. I was fairly certain the plate was uranium but did not expect the bowl to be, turns out they both are!!
The plate is a Bagley made in England art deco frosted green uranium glass "Fish" plate 1930 Pattern No 3123.
The bowl I have not been able to identify......
The price was $1.00 each so I had to rescue them didn't I!!
Hope you enjoy seeing these. Thanks, Judy.
You did very well for a dollar :)
Thanks Caperkid! They are nice pieces anyway regardless of being uranium glass, and it's nice to get lucky once in a while :-)
Judy... Brillant! ;-))
You certainly got a bargain Judy!! I love these.
Thanks Pascale :-) ), I was really surprised to find them here as they are few and far between in Tas!
Onward to a nice piece of jewellery now! Lol, I can always hope!
Hi Scott, thank you! Yes I did and I don't feel guilty either as we have spent quite a lot in charity op shops over the years as well as donated lots to them.
My favourite uranium glass pieces are the frosted ones, I really love them!
Thanks again :-)
LOL...I understand that resolve that I'm not going to be getting any more of "x, y, or z"..and then something too cool comes by that I can't pass up!
Very pretty!
Thanks Karen, had to do quite a bit of shuffling to find a spot for them lol!
Many thanks Caperkid, Adele, Pascale, Scott, Mike, Jlmam, Thomas, Bijou, Ken, Aura, Vetraio and KarenLR for the love, always appreciated very much!!

Many thanks for the love Sean, always appreciated :-)
Gorgeous plate & bowl, I love how they change from light green to dramatic phosphorescent - the double fish design appears to be a Pisces symbol motif
Hi Jenni, thank you!
It's funny to watch the reaction of visitors who don't know about uranium glass when we light up the display cabinet!
It could be the pisces sign! I hadn't even thought of that, thanks for the love too:-)
