Currently helping my folks "downsize" from their farm to a condo. This is a decidedly mixed blessing, in that its also coming along with a no-doubt stuffed FULL U-Haul trailer in addition to my pickup, all of which I'll havta drag some 600+miles home, to my little house that's already quite full of all the crap I already own. <groan><sigh> I don't have the *slightest* clue where I'm gonna put all the stuff in these pics, which represent 3 of 4 "my piles" as of yesterday. (the first two piles pictured here are, in fact, both rather larger today...)

Pic one is the 'garage pile' of 'smalls' that I either picked offa the auction hayracks beforehand, or outta the house before they made it to the hayracks at all. 2nd pic is some of the furniture and most of the lawn/garden/shed tools. 3rd pic is remains of a cast-iron bench (from the one-room country school my Mom attended) and a "hemper". [and the 4th, untaken/unseen pic is the 'inside pile' of 'smalls', including glassware & ceramics, old toys, and more etc etc.]

Oh, and then there's the riding mower, which *also* needs to find its place amongst everything to follow me home...not the slightest bit collectable that, just one more big heavy thing I've gotta deal with along with the rest...but anyways, back to the pics. If y'all can't guess already, there's a whole lotta cool crap hidden from view in those boxes/piles...

And now that the auction is over and done, actual MOVING DAY isn't until the end of this week...gawd ONLY knows what more 'stuff' is gonna keep coming out of the basement/cabinets/yada yada yada that Mom (or me?) will insist I "need to have"...?? <headdesk>

[EDIT] 4th pic added, the 'furniture' pile has probably grown the most dramatically in the past few days. Somehow, I'll still stuff it all into the little U-Haul, I think? The various 'smalls' piles have also grown, thankfully there's currently lots of surplus boxes/packing mat'l handy...
