Picked this brooch up at a Goodwill. It is missing one 2mm chaton but otherwise is in great shape for the age. The pin bar on the back may help date it age... has a V shaped claw to secure the pin under and the bar is secured to the brooch by way of two studs that were punched down with a cross pattern rather than rounded off or flattened. Can someone help identify the style, country, possible maker, and age?

It is 2-3/4" long and 1" wide.

    Thanks!

    Eric

      Hi Eric,
It looks as though it was made in Glabonsk in Czechoslovakia or also could be Austrian about 1910 and you could say that it was Edwardian in its styling.

Kiwitaia, I wondered if it may be a Czech piece but do you think the pin is 1910 or more 1930s due to the hinge type? I have heard varying information. Thanks! :-)
