Bumper Alarm Clock.
I believe I acquired this in the 1980's. The box or the instructions are not dated.
The box states:
Wake up with a smile to this bumper car-styled alarm clock.
* Pop-up lighted LCD display
* Flashing headlights activated and synchronized with alarm.
* Requires 3 AA batteries (not included).
*Push top of hood for alarm stop and night light.
"Check out"
The real soft-rubber bumper and seat.
Thanks for stopping by my car alarm garage,
Dave

Has to be the coolest alarm clock I've ever seen. Nice one Dave!!
jscott0363, it reminds me of the little metropolitan cars:

I have one the same color that came out in the 70's. Mine is AM/FM and cassette player. Mine is rather large and weighs 19 pounds. I have been offered $100 for it but guess I will pass because it is unusual.
fhrjr2, mine could be from the 70's, I just know I have had it for a long time. Mine is just a clock / alarm and weighs 3/4 of a pound (without batteries) but including the dust.

UPC Barcode labels, seen on every box in stores now days to scan the price, came out in 1983 for normal store use. By the '90s, everything had them. If it has a UPC code, it is after 1983 (according to a website which didn't list its source). If not, it could be before the '80s.
SpiritBear, box has a UPC bar code, sometime around 1983. Thanks.
Thanks lisa for the appreciation.
Mine is embossed on the bottom with maker, part number etc. that is how I checked it. It takes 6 or 8 D-cell batteries or a power cord.
Now that is a cool clock ! love

Well my truck doesn't wake me up though pw-collector :-)
Manikin, If I had your truck I wouldn't want to get out of it. Just wake up & start driving again showing it off.

That is adorable! Very unique...
Dave,
It does remind me of a the little Nash as well!! My uncle had one that he fully restored. His was yellow and white and reached a top speed of 50 MPH.
jscott0363, that one came to my mind also.
