Old chain

Hello I found this old chain which was very dirty and with the junk costume jewellery , it looks like rose cold but has no marks and looks to have a different ring clasp on one end with no markings I can see, it has cleaned up lovely and it's to long for a bracelet and too short for a necklace, so thinking it's a watch chain maybe ?
