    I acquired this knife from my relative. Carved handle with brass guard. Sheath is carved, I believe , Rosewood with brass tip and clip. 10 inches including handle. I don't know much about this knife. Supposedly an Uncle gave it my wife, and all we know is that he brought back from overseas. I always thought is was neat! Immaculate condition. No name on knife and sheath. 5-6 marks on brass on sheath like slashes is the only forged marks that could be the Maker. More information about this knife
    is greatly appreciated.

      Hi Bigjim,
      I have a carving set in an identical style except the knife blade is straighter. Story has it my father did his national service in Libya some seventy odd years ago and brought them back to England with him. I've always liked them, so about 5 years before he passed away they were given to me, I'll pass them on to one of my sons eventually.

      Looks to be a dagger, made in India, around the 1960's.
