We bought this cool NorthStar sign at Iowa Gas as the owner took it out of his trailer. NorthStar is/was a Canadian Co. It began in 1919 and was purchased by Shell Oil in 1962, which may be why we never see these signs in the USA? The signs are pretty rare so we feel lucky to have it in our collection at Lakeside Storage.
Got itchy feet again and are headed to Texas next week to hunt for signs. The fun of the hunt is awesome! Like fishing it's best when they're biting!

23 hr drive to get to Des Moines and we went 2 days early so nothing could get past us and this was the only sign we bought! Prices were very high. Sellers market place but not good for buyers. Fortunately I had other signs bought along the route so we didn't come home empty.
I think the graphic of this one is fantastic! A fave :)
