The Kodak Hawkeye was made from 1949-1961. This is the Flash Model which costs an extra $1.50 back then. Both versions featured the attractive bakelite body.
My favorite feature of this camera is the flash device. Reminds me of the old movies when someone would make a key statement the reporters/photographers would all take photos. Also the seen in Airplane when someone says let's take some photos and the reporters take the pictures hanging on the wall.
I'll need some vintage flash bulbs now.
Nice Brownie camera. It also reminds me of the movie Airplane. Oh, and Airplane is one of my all time favorites!!
Thank you very much Scott. Airplane is a great movie. Does anyone here speak jive?

Brownies ! Glad you mentioned that. It's brownie time ! LOL !! My sister & I both had one in the 50-60's. Dodging those hot bulbs ! Did we have colour film ?
Thank you very much bb2. What kind of brownies? I recall the hot melted bulbs. I think they were still selling b/w film in the 60s.
Thank you
