Dear Valentino will love this Bzz Bzz ;-)
Bought it in a lot of insect theme damaged costume jewellery, full of goodies!
Some more to be posted...
5.5cm long.
3.3cm wide.
I think it is from the 40's era.
Full of grime, many rhinestones lacking-------> KYRATISED ;-))
Last pic, from Google images, is one very similar, priced at 48£ at Grays Antiques.... woahhh ;-)
Thank you Caperkid for all your loves and this promt one!
Uh... "prompt"!
Love it!
Fort Bien Kyratisée !!!!!
Wow, I love it too!!
very cool! and i'm not a jewelry fan!
It's a BEAUTY!! You did an incredible Kyratisation on this one!!
I am loving this and wow ! Always that good eye for beauty and working your magic on restoring :-)
Bonnie, thanks for your lovely comment :-)
Vetraio, merci beaucoup ;-))
Judy, lots of thanks too!
Ho2cultcha, this one is right in your alley... cool, quirky and big. I'm sure you could wear it (on your creature of the lake suit... lol!).
Scott, Gary, Mani... you're really too kind! Only a good clean, and glued flat back rhinestones! Big thanks for your constant support and loves :-)))
You never run out of bugs to keep us dazzled, super love !
I'm sooo enjoying your new buzzies!! Well Kyratised too (of course). This plastic one really appeals to my bright and simple taste.
At first I thought you changed it from the first pic to the fourth pic! I was sitting here in shock, thinking wow, how did she do that??? haha It's very cool!
Phil! You know I'm totally bugged ;-) Thank you friend, XO
Karen, this one is so funny and bright, I'll say, as Valentino, plastic is fantastic! Thank you for your kind comment :-)
Shareurpassion, lol! I preferred to show the green one in pics rather to give a link to it... I understand why you were confused! :-D
Thanks for your cool comment!
Love back to you, all 22 red fly lovers!!!
OMG I just saw the most beautiful fly ever! Wow, I can't believe I just said that, haha. It's Native American and the "head" is turquoise. I thought of you immediately and am trying to get a photo of it for you. (It's on ig, that place is crazier than it is here)!
Shareurpassion, for sure, I'd love to see that native indian fly!!! (Don't know what is ig...) thank you!
Valentino! I knew you'd love it!!! Thank you for your lovely visit!
Not bakelite, simichrome gave nothing yellow on the Q-tip... Pure plastic ;-)
The green one seems to have lot of replacement stones... those eyes are not the best! It was the only one pic I found of a similar.
Love back to you all 28 fly lovers :-D
Same one green, described as bakelite...

Love this so much!!!
Bzz Bzz, Vintagelamp!
Ig = instagram. Everything is so fast there and all these beautiful things just zoom right by you. Ya gotta be quick enough to catch them and then you have to stay fast in order to keep up. It's a place I knew I could go to promote my etsy shop, which I have all but left behind since anyway but hopefully for good reason. I think I've come up with something I know I love and can not find, so I'm going to give it a shot at making it! I'll show the results soon.
Absolutely love it!
Yeah Valentino! 1938, wow! Thank you my friend :-)
I forgot about Mike's post who got this book and shared some pages! The green fly is here:
