This is the latest addition to my collection of vases and bowls on three strutted legs. Some are Welz, some are Kralik, but this and many others are unattributable.
The spatter is white, yellow, orange and oxblood. The base glass and the legs are the palest yellow/amber I've ever seen. The bowl itself is a classic shape and has a cut rim.
Height 10 cm./4 inches Diameter 11.5 cm./4.5 inches
I'd say the new addition landed .It looks like a space lander. The designer didn't predict how futuristic shape it would be.
lol it was me who landed.... well my hand landed as soon as I saw it. I was visiting my favourite antique shop in Ulverston.
I love the spatter on this, and my least liked glass colour (ox blood) looks fantastic in this mix. Maybe I'm converting!
The legs make the piece for me however; there is three (great number), they are very long, beautifully crimped feet, and they make it look very modern.
Well shopped Peggy :)

Karen, I think the oxblood is tempered by the orange and yellow and looks brown going on black! I too love the legs and will always find room for another.......
Rose, great, snappy comment, thanks :)
