I know this is a Fenton dish, but the center actually of the dish actually "bellies up". It's not flat. What was this used for please!

I'm thinking this is an 8" salad plate by Fenton. The pattern is called "French opalescent."

I would think so also, but the center clear portion of the plate is domed up about 3/8 of an inch. It actually looks like it is part is a set....of something????

Fenton Glass was hand made glass. As a collector of Fenton, I have several pieces that have imperfections. I'm not sure if they had any type of quality control or if they just let pieces go "as is."
