A very recognisable piece of Iwata Fujinana here.
The bowl is made of variegated pink glass, a colour he seemed to like, and has been bubbled with soda bicarbonate. Iwata learnt of pulegoso glass when he was in Italy in the 1930s, and he continued to use the technique throughout his life.
The pink has a thick, clear glass outer case and has been hot worked around the rim to give it a lovely fluttering look. It is difficult to see, but the back of the bowl has a ridged texture to it, and I don't know if this was from the bowl mould or was added later.

As was typical of Iwata Fujinana's work the piece has a very free style to it.
It is typical of his work that the colour is unevenly distributed throughout the bowl.

    Diameter: 16cm
