I've had this silver caddy spoon for a while but kept forgetting to post it. The oval shape is unusual for a caddy spoon, it as a lovely art and craft feel to it. Looking at the back you can see the hammered finish bowl, it must have taken ages as I'm presuming it was all done by hand. The spoon is marked B.I for Bernard Instone and the letter C for the year 1927. I love all my caddy spoons, I'm fortunate that I have some of Bernard Instone and Amy Sandheim, I'm always on the look out for spoons, jewellery from both these talented people.

    Many thanks for looking

Hi Bonnie, I must admit I really like caddy spoons and some of them are just wow. I was looking at a Omar Ramsdan caddy spoon and it was going for over 4,000.00 pounds, way out of my price bracket. Most of the art and craft movement made caddy spoons, jewellery, cigarette cases and much, much more they were so versatile.

Oops thanks for your lovely comment Bonnie, I was getting carried away with spoons, lol.

Thank you Karen, I wish I could buy more but alas they are getting expensive to buy. I would really love a Liberty or Omar Ramsden caddy spoon but I think I'll have to dream on, unless I'm very lucky.
