Hello, I found this item, and I have no clue what it is. Please help identify item. Item looks vintage, could be some kind of tool. Thank you.

Used to make a slight bulge in the leather of a shoe to stop it rubbing on a corn or other type of foot sore. The leather was often dampened, the circular part was placed over the spot to be stretched, on the outside of the shoe, while the arm with the little ball on its end went inside the shoe. Gradual pressure would make a small bulge outward in the leather.
