HOME JUICE CO. half gallon glass jug

Here's my soon to be newest "penny jug". :-) The HOME JUICE CO. provided various flavors of "fresh juice" with a home-delivery system (similar to the way fresh milk was delivered to one's home) mostly to customers in the central IL area, I believe.

This is a half gallon glass jug, with the HOME JUICE CO. logo cast into the glass on its front and back, in addition to the wording "KEEP REFRIGERATED 35-42 F DEPOSIT BOTTLE" above the logos and "64 FL OZ (1/2 GAL) ONE HALF GALLON" underneath. On its bottom it reads "PROPERTY OF HOME JUICE CO."

It measures about 10.5" tall, its screw-on metal lid suggests it is probably 1970's or so, and is labeled that the jug last held "PINEAPPLE ORANGE DRINK".
