Several years ago I wanted a unique way to display my handcuff collection. I happened on an estate sale in my home town and found a 100 year old exterior county jail door that weighed 250 pounds, for sale. I bought the door and proceeded to construct my 8 foot wide x 12 foot long jail cell, complete with bar-windows, the jail door and shelving to display my handcuffs on. It is constructed with 16 gage metal angle bar & 4' x 8' panels that can be disassembled for transport & re-assembled for a display. There are approximately 100 handcuffs in this display.
It is a lot of work to set-up and display, but has been a lot of fun. Getting a little to old to set it up any more.
Thanks for looking,
Dave
P.S.
While the display is set up, I have rolling music in the background playing:
Jail-House Blues by Bessie Smith
Send Me to the 'Lectric Chair" by Bessie Smith
Jailhouse Rock by Elvis Presley
Honky Tonk Jail by Flynville Train
Mexican Jail by Hickman-Dalton Gang
I Got Stripes by Johnny Cash
Tijuana Jail by The Kingston Trio
Cincinnati Jail by Lonnie Mack
That is an interesting and very well displayed collection. Quite clever.

Extremely impressive to say the least. I can see a true dedication to displaying these handcuffs in this wonderful creation of yours. And it's not just any makeshift hut you built, it's a full on jail cell, it looks fantastic, you have a very good set of creative skills that have been put to use to create a marvelous display. Thank you for sharing.
