This is another satin glass rose bowl. This time on a small pedestal and as you see in image three the black is actually amethyst.
At first glance it seems that I have three of the same shape in different colour combinations. All are satin glass. Closer inspection will disclose minor variations between them.
Then you have to decide, are the variations simply a matter of different moulds ordered/made by one maker, or, was this a popular shape and several makers produced their own version.
Height 11.5 cm./4.5 inches
GREAT grouping!

Thank you, scott :)
your collection must be appealing all together...
Thank you so much kivatinitz, it is certainly colourful!
I like the three most.It must have been a challenge to make flower compositions in such colourful vases.I have never seen frog vases completed with flowers.
I have to try with the only one I own.
An interesting thought, Ivonne. I think that on size you'd be limited to small wild flowers like daisy, buttercup and thrift. But where the spatter is really vivid you'd need to limit yourself to flowers of one colour only. And for my rose bowl in the Welz décor 'Red Yellow Green' I'd be restricted to just leaves lol
