AND NOW, for my official *100th* show & tell item...? ;-) :-) :-)
We have this weird little steel stool/chair on wheels. About 3' tall in all, the seat is about 12" x 16" and its frame looks to be adjustable in all sorts of different ways. (none of which I have attempted to change) The red vinyl seat and back covering have probably been added, I don't know if the original upholstery is still underneath it or not. (if, in fact, there ever was any?) There are no mfr's marks or labels on it any more, though the underside of the seat looks like it *used* to have a rectangular label of some kind on it.
Does anybody else recognize this thing so to give it a purpose? Somehow it strikes me as something that might have been used with an old stenography machine (or something) in an office, but it has a nifty 'industrial' look to it where I could also see it paired with some kind of machine tool or workbench in a shop/factory setting...or ????
Happy late 100!
