This little mesh coin purse (Chatelaine?) has been in my family, but I don't know for how long.
Does anyone know the age of this?
It's definitely from before 1960's. It's in absolutely perfect condition.
I don't see a mark of who the manufacturer would be. Does anyone know where I'd find this?

Possibly Whiting Davis Co. Open the hinge and look inside along the metal band that closes. May just be marked Germany. Circa 1920-1930.

      Thank you, Parkerhouse.
There are no markings that I can see. Not even a symbol or "Germany".

I seem to write before I look to see how old the post is. I always wonder if it's worth replying to it?

You have a chainmaille little coin purse that would hang on a ladies chatelaine belt. Designed to send shivers down the spine of every house maid.
